Here is a file full of new and old SNMP Software config editors and everything else i acquired over the years that some of you may not have. Also i included a massive OID list which im slowly expanding, and a ton of Motorola factory firmware images enjoy! This is a perfect file to get beginners going if there are any of you lurking around here looking for software's etc...this will definitely save you time i put a file up like this before but i didnt include everything in it..i well be updating this with more firmwares etc... in the near future Download Here

Sb5101 is complete it has internet but in every device says no internet

Did my first 5101 and all the lights are on and I went to the Motorola page and everything seems to be good but the laptop icon has a triangle and the ps4 says DNS is not set.
What do I do? I have tried everything and nothing
Did I do something wrong in the process?
Or is it my devices?

STB Hacking

Is STB Hacking still a thing.....im pretty proficient with Modem hacking....hell ive even done it without a modded firmware using dynamiclly encrypted configs xD (obviously i wont say how) but anyway ya....i recently acquired a STB Model DCT2524 and im wondering if its still possible to hack these or clone them....can someone point me in the right direction? im a NOOB in this sector and any and all info ive found on the subject is very vague.......for obvious reasons im guessing, but if there is some kind of "underground site" someone can point me to or anything at all to get me started.....what cables i need etc or anything else i might need that would be wonderful and remember....im doing this for EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY Wink

Hi folks... ok im newbie at this stuff...so be gentle with me please Smile

i have the above modem..id like to flash it with haxorware

ive grabbed the firmware .. now where do i buy a cable (usb if poss?).. im assuming i need a jtag cable to do this.

and some utility program....

ok, basically an idiots guide on how to flash my 5100i Smile

Error connecting to target board ? Usb black cat only reads 1 correctly

I have everything connected correctly and the drivers are installed
It reads the Usb black cat fine but It wont read the sb5101 I have 3 SB5101's and it won't read 2 of them it says error connecting to target board,
It only reads 1 perfectly fine .
What can be the problem ?

Can a Motorola sb5100 DOCSIS2.0 modem work on an ISP that uses DOCSIS3.0?
reason why i ask On my cc modem page this is what I see, STATUS->RF PARAMETERS->UPSTREAM->CHANNEL TYPE-> DOCSIS2.0 (ATDMA) then when I go over to HW/FW VERSIONS-> HARDWARE INFORMATION im seeing ARRIS DOCSIS 3.0 Touchstone WideBand Cable Modem,so I don’t know if my cc is using DOCSIS2.0 or DOCSIS3.0 or is it that the arris CM820 is just DOCSIS3.0 and there network is really DOCSIS2.0 .can you please shed some light on this please.

The really easy but kind of unreliable method I "found" for Uncapping any modem....

So I "found" an easy method for uncapping and it works in my ISP but I cannot speak for others. What I basically do is disable SNMP on modems using SnmpCfgAdmin or NET-SNMP, keep in mind these modems are Subscribed to an internet plan with no modded firmware or anything, anyway once SNMP is disabled I call up the ISP or go on their live chat and have the internet speeds upgraded for that modem. Then because SNMP is disabled when they Update the speeds for the modem it does not reboot. They do not tend to notice this they just say "It should update within a few minutes" (Gotta love "dumb" phone reps) anyway I then reboot the modem manually and it picks up the higher speed config and then I call back into the ISP and downgrade the internet plan again. Because the modem has SNMP disabled it does not get rebooted to pick up the new config and just continues running on the higher speed config and you will be billed for the lower speed internet plan. I have tested this with 4 different DOCSIS3.0 Modems on my ISP and it works they are all running on a 400down config now (Too bad they are not mine) lol anyway ya you can even cancel your internet plan if you want too and the modem continues running just fine (On My ISP anyway) ....feel free to to try it I guess, but remember if the modem gets rebooted due to power loss or something else your gonna have to do this again to re-gain higher speeds. I do not recommend doing this too much as they may notice something is up.



Edit: suppose i should have told you all the OID to disable SNMP set 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.1.19.3.1.14.0 to a value of 0

Internet normal use of equipment
No arrears

What is the reason？

I am a newbie to this but have quite a little technical knowledge.

How do i flash my SBG6580 and install a complete new firmware - SBG6580-6.5.2.0-GA-06-077-NOSH.

Also does anyone have the firmware to share ? I would really appreciate yall's help and tutorials - Thanks mates

Helping a guy on comcast and he has a modem that i can only assume is unregistered due to the fact that it is picking up the walledgarden config. He was wondering why the ability to turn the WiFi on and off are disabled in the modem GUI, im not quite sure what his intentions are with the modem but i cant seem to do anything. They have very good security, i cant get SNMP write access they use IPV6 and everything else lol the modem is a SBG6580...any info would be appriciated. PM me if you dont wanna share out in the open.

i found at sbhacker a full flash that when i activated console it had the same stuff as haxorware and more! Lots of the command cant even be found in sbhacer, here or google. If someone could add a costume webgui it would rock!

Empty Console in USB TTL serial method

I'm trying to flash through serial method.

I'm using USB TTL device.
I'm using the pinout mentioned here (The corrected one)

When i'm trying to connect to COM1 port (I have already configured the USB TTL to use COM1 port), putty console doesn't show anything.
(Attached image 1).

Also if i'm trying to telnet to 192.168.100.1 it says telnet refused.

Is it the correct procedure ?

Modem: SB5101i (Stock) REV A 23-DEC-04

I have also orderd a blackcat usb(It will take 8-15 weeks to reach me Sad ), but i'm trying trough the serial method.

I'm new in this scene please help me.

Sbhacker is down? Anyone know what's going on? It looks like they lost the domain registration, but when I try to visit the IP address I also get nothing.
NVM, just looked on IRC, apparently it's an hdd crash.
