speed crash after ISP update

ISP Modem: CISCO DPQ2160
ISP Speed: 512KB
Haxorware Modem: SB5101E(Version 1.1 Revision 39)
Custom Speed: 20MB

Haxorware Setting:
Disable Firmware Upgrades:
Force Network Access
Tftp Enforce Bypass

Problem
My ISP recently updated its function. From 20MB download and upload rate, speed went down to 512KB and 2.7MB.

Does anyone know what changes my ISP made? How can I set my Haxorware Modem now?

SB5101 gets stuck on haxorware Ranging Complete

It gets stuck on ranging complete.
It keeps scanning but when I connect the coax it starts
To say ranging complete and it freezes?
What can I do to fix the problem?

Arris filters

hey everyone. New here. Looks like a great community.

I was finally able to telnet into my arris modem but cant figure out which command to turn filters off.
I tried the "filters off" telnet command with no luck.
Does anyone know if this is possible?

Hey guys,

So I have the Arris SB6183 modem with the Netgear Nighhawk Router and subscribed to 320/20 service with TWC here in SoCal. They use BPI+ security. I love it because I get 300+Mbps even on wifi across a large house.

Anyways, I've used the SB5101 in the past to get multiple public IPs at the same time to host RDSL and made some good money on it but when TWC offered 320Mbps they said I needed Docsis 3.0 so I upgraded and lost my only desired feature of multiple public ips at the same time with the ability to rotate public IPs within 5 seconds without a modem reboot.

I tried the SB6121 with Forceware but was unable to get multiple public ips and was unable to rotate them without a complete modem reboot, so I went back to the SB5101 and am stuck at 20Mbps on a line I'm paying for 320Mbps speeds.

Are there any pre-modded modems out there on Doccis 3 where I can get 300+Mbps speeds AND run haxorware?

Force firmware update

OK so I have a provisioned dump which had been online 24/7 for months, running fine, (im using an exploit to avoid being blacklisted but I wont get into that) then about two weeks ago cc tried to update my modems firmware but I had firmware updates disabled in hax lite. I shrugged it off for days because the modem was online and working fine. But then I rebooted it and now it wont get online, from a telnet dump I've come to the conclusion that its because the firmware co-cvc is outdated. The problem is cc wont offer me a firmware update anymore. No matter what I try. Does anyone know how to force a firmware update on a provisioned dump?

Also, whats the current state of this hobby? Is everyone still testing? Ive seen a lot of people retired/quit. Are you guys still online?

extracting certs via Telnet - on modems that don't respond to Fastcert

has anyone had success extracting certs via Telnet using 'diag readmem' command?

I could find some kind of pvt key using (on SVG1202)

diag readmem -s 1 -n 16384 0x80bd60dc

(but it did not work as expected)


I saw some posts using this address instead

diag readmem -s 4 -n 5838 0x83fa8b80

can it be done?

DPC2100r2 Flashing Help Required

I tried using 1 click flasher, but things didnt seem clear. I dont know what happen but I think the flashing was done, but still nothing happens.

Using( DPC2100R2 Without Cables )

Want information on how to upload the firmware.


EDIT: Was able to flash with 1 Click Flasher. Thanks to its author and also to haxorware's author.

so this is my horrible modem im a trying to config in advance tab it prompts me with a must have password of the day message? i never set one up how to i create one?

so this is the deal going on at home...we have a total of 23 devices that feed of the modem, lately its been randomly crashing,signal is weak and short range. once i reset it works fine again for about 2 hours(yes i know i have to buy a new modem) i cant afford to buy a new modem at the moment :/ any way i can mod my modem? im a noob at this.. i just found this sweet bitchin site Angel thank you for taking time to read my thread have a good one folks Big Grin

SB6183 slow speed

Hi Guys,

I have SB6183 and it works fine for few minutes but after no more than 18 hours, the speed drops from 100Mb to 3Mb and very high delay in ping,

if I reboot the modem everything work again temporary

I replaced the modem and the problem still there,

ISP was useless to troubleshoot, if i change the modem with different model it works fine.

any idea of how you can troubleshoot this issue?

can I login into the serial port and get some diagnostics?

please help.

Who Remembers when this worked xD......those were the days i remember uncapping to a whopping 35.00Mbps and i couldn't get over how fast it was HAHAHAHA what does amaze me is there is some places this still works to an extent
