Flash SB6120 with Blackcat USB HELP!!!!

$

Hello everyone, so I'm a newbie try to flash my SB6120 DOS 3.0 modem. I did my research and read countless thread to learn and successful flashed my SB5101 to haxorware. And, now, I move on to flash the SB6120 and get stuck in this problem. So, please help me out if you know whats am I doing wrong.

So, I got all the wires connected from BCUSB to the 3M test clip following the schematic below.

.jpg  G.jpg (Size: 70.57 KB / Downloads: 18)

If I am correct, there two pin VCC and GND are power pins? VCC is positive and GND is negative? If so, what is the required voltage (3.3V or 5V) and where would I get the power source from? Does the BCUSB board supply the power directly to the chip, or we have to get the power from the modem board (positive from pin R362 connect to VCC pin, if so where should we get the negative?) OR I have to supply the power by an external power source? (If so, where should I connect the the power to?

I connect all the wires as shown in the picture, but when I plug in the BCUSB to the modem and power it up, run the software, the BCUSB is connected to my PC but it shows error message saying that error to connect to the target board which is the SB6120.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!
THANKS ALOT

Looking for Script Info for Injecting Certs in SB5100

Hey guys,

I'm looking for the code that goes in the beginning of the hex values for CA.CER (cmFactoryManCertificate) and root.key (cmFactoryRootPublic). I know what they are for the public, private and CM.CER. 008C, 027B & 0384, respectively. I also need to know the number of letters. Does anyone have this information. Some say all you need are the 3 certs but I believe ABMJR said you need all 5. I have the rest of the script info I just need to know the code in the beginning and the total number of letters for CA.CER and root.key.

Thanks.

Boa Tarde pessoal.
Então sou novo aqui no site. Obrigado.

I understand one shouldn't use macs/certs in ones node, but would too far from one's node be an issue? For example: If one is in the east coast, would west coast macs/certs work?

SBG6580 MIB Browser

I posted this question at SBH but it seems kinda dead over there in the D3 section so maybe someone here can help:

So let's say I bought a couple of SBG6580's from the swapmeet and I want to gain access to change the password and the swapmeet vendor does not know the password.

I did an MIB Browse and got the TREE on the Private folder, I see lots of data in there like

broadcom.2.2.2.1.1.3.1.0 technician
broadcom.2.2.2.1.1.3.2.0 yZgO8Bvj
broadcom.2.2.2.1.1.3.3.0 vanberen
broadcom.2.2.2.1.1.3.4.0 Tactic3d

but when I try to login with a combination of those credentials, It does not let me. Is there something Im overlooking? Is this not the area that I need to look in?

So my wife got a Nano and asked me to make it work...lol. I've been sifting through useless Google pages trying to figure out how to get this damn thing to work without putting I Tunes on any of my rigs!

Do I HAVE to put that garbage on one of my babies to set this thing up the first time and then use Winamp to manage it or is there another way?

Bandwidth request failure

What does this mean? This is a SB5100 modem on a Docsis 1.1 config. The power, downsteam, upstream, and online lights are solid green.

However, the computer that's connected to the modem doesn't receive a public IP address. The modem does receive it's private HFC IP.

Get internal IP, but not public

I have a moto 6120 that I'm testing with. After it gets the config file fromt the tftp server, the output I get from syslog is pasted below. The online light is solid green, the receive light is constantly blinking blue, and the send light occasionally blinks.

If I login to the modem on 192.168.100.1 using ssh, I can ping the private 10.x.x.x modem's IP. I can also ping all of the public ISP router IPs. However, I can't ping any IP beyond that on the internet like google dns (8.8.8.8).

So, my modem gets assigned an internal IP, but if I connect a laptop or router to the modem, it doesn't get assigned a public IP. I tried to manually assign my laptop's NIC some random IPs on the public ISP network, but that didn't work.

Is there any debugging information or other logs I can get from the modem through ssh to see what's going on. Has anyone had this issued before?
