Hi,Feel free to email me. I purchased a modem sb5100 with "Haxorware 1.1 Rev 39 Firmware installed" I have been reading posts on this site and I'm still at a loss. What does this mean and how can i check the software etc? I have installed the modem, registered the mac and Im up and running. The speeds seem faster than the newer modem I was using, I believe Im getting another .3 mb on my download. - What can I do to increase or verify my security settings? - Can I milk more speed out of my broadband?- Can I verify that the dude that sold me the modem didn't include flash spyware?- Overall capabilities?I know nothing of Haxorware, Im former military and I work with confidential data so security is a concern. I worked for a company where I flashed proprietary software to hardware, but I need to know the proper software, flash program, and commands. I would appreciate your time, and I understand some flash programs here are shit, and some folks like to put out bad files. You seem like a smart guy so I stand before you and on your shoulders.

I did lots of reading but now i need help please.
I have this modems db5101 and sb5100
sb5101 with hax was working until now.
Now my provider need cert too.
I try fastcert (not scanning any thing)
can i use sb5100 put in to factor mod and scan fastcert for cert?
or how can i get cert using any of those modems?

Router Slowing Speed of Cable Modem

Hello all,

I'm using a SB5101 with a Linksys WRT54G w/DD-WRT. When I do a speed test with speakeasy.net I get 35Mbps without the router and 25Mbps with the router. I'm doing the test with a wired PC. (I disabled wireless.) I changed all patch cables but it didn't help. Can someone tell me why this would be?

i am trying to set this value through command prompt but i get a "Does not exist" error.

i am able to read it but i can't set it. i know i can set it through haxorware but why can't i

set it through command prompt? i can pretty much set anything else i want to set but that.

i tried all 3 ID's.



any help is appreciated.

Config file editing/tweaking

Luckily, I am able to edit and autoserve the config file with my ISP.

Anyone have any experience fine tuning the config file, especially at peak hours when bandwidth seems to slow down?

Will raising the traffic priority be effective? How about the traffic burst?

Attorney: Man was acting in self-defense when he killed sheriff's deputy

A man accused in last week's shooting death of a Burleson County sheriff's deputy mistook the officer coming through his front door as an intruder, according to his lawyer.

Henry Goedrich Magee, 28, was charged with capital murder after authorities said he shot Sgt. Adam Sowders as he led an eight-man team into Magee's trailer near Somerville just before 6 a.m. Thursday.
Houston attorney Dick DeGuerin said Magee and his girlfriend, who is five months pregnant with Magee's baby, were asleep in the living room of the trailer home when they were awakened by "explosives" going off near the front windows and loud pounding on the front door.

Moments later, Magee saw a person whom he said he couldn't identify in the dark burst through his door, DeGuerin said, adding that Magee -- who has a felony and misdemeanor drug conviction -- believed the man rushing in was an intruder and he needed to defend himself.

Magee grabbed a rifle leaning against his bedroom door frame and fired, striking and killing 31-year-old Sowders, DeGuerin said.

The high profile criminal defense attorney, who said he was contacted by Magee's family Friday night, met Saturday with Magee and his relatives at the Burleson County Jail. Magee remained there late Monday on $1 million bail on a capital murder charge, which is punishable by life in prison without parole or death by lethal injection.

The search warrant for the home off County Road 278 was obtained by Sowders a week ago today, and was signed by District Judge Reva Towslee Corbett.

According to the affidavit for the warrant, Sowders received information from an investigator that Magee was growing marijuana and possibly had stolen guns, as well as other drugs inside his home.

Officials have not released information about what was discovered inside Magee's trailer, but DeGuerin said a few marijuana plants were the only illegal items in the home. While Magee did have four guns inside his home -- a .308-caliber semi-automatic rifle, the weapon Magee shot Sowders with; a .223-caliber rifle discovered locked up in a safe, along with a shotgun given to him by his grandfather; and a handgun that belonged to his mother found in the kitchen -- they were all legal, DeGuerin said.
In an affidavit for a warrant to search Sowders' trailer after the shooting, Texas Ranger Andres de la Garza wrote, "By Magee's own admission he heard and observed the entry made by the SWAT team."

However, DeGuerin said his client "had no idea it was a deputy sheriff" when he shot him.

Sowders applied for the search warrant after consulting with the district attorney's office, according to the original affidavit, which included a request from Sowders to enter the home "without first knocking and announcing the presence and purpose of officers."

The request was made based on information that Magee had weapons inside that, according to an investigator's source, he was not afraid to use, according to the affidavit, which stated he had an aggressive dog, as well.

DeGuerin said that, in his experience, it's rare for authorities to have enough evidence to justify entering a home without knocking.
"The danger is that if you're sitting in your home and it's pitch black outside and your door gets busted in without warning, what the hell are you supposed to do?" DeGuerin said.

Attempts to reach Burleson County District Attorney Julie Renken Monday were not successful. The sheriff's department has declined comment, referring calls to the DA's office. A statement from the prosecutor's office states that a report is expected within the next few business days.
Funeral services are set for 1 p.m. Friday at Central Baptist Church in College Station.

How to Hack JynxboxLive

Step1 : Make sure your JynxboxLive is connected to the internet.

Step2 : Put the downloaded “CrackJynxLive.bin” file into the root directory of your USB disk or TF card, then plug in your USB disk or TF card to JynxboxLive.

Step3 : Go to the “Apps” Menu, the crack file will hack the JynxboxLive to download a “Live TV” application.
A file download menu will pop up, select “Yes” to start download process, then select “Install” to install the “Live TV”.

The hacking process is finished, enjoy your “Live TV” using your JynxboxLive box.


Troubleshooting:

1. Factory reset the device from the settings menu
2. After #1 make sure you connect to the internet via Wi-Fi or Ethernet and unplug/plug the power for a reboot once connected.
3. Only plug in USB/SD device after #2 and go into Apps menu. Installation prompt will appear right away. Install the file. Make sure the installation process is completed.
4. Reboot after #4.

Tried to scan through the forums, only found info showing that the modem needs to be flashed through SPI. Are there any diagrams available? Should I just get SB6121/SB6141 and start over? Is this even a quality modem?

ISP backyard pole terminals

The telephone company has a record of the cable and terminal at the telephone pole. They also have a record of the customer connected to any particular terminal. They also program any particular terminal with the dial tone and any other service with the line. They also are able to test what is connected to the terminal. They can detect if more than one phone is connected to that terminal.

Now in comparison to the CC/ISP terminals on the pole.
In the old days, all the terminal were the same with universal service at them. The installer would run a coax from any spare terminal to the customers premise. The customers would be provided with a particular equipment (modem or cable box) to obtain service.
I'm assuming that there was no individual programing of the terminal (beside the on line pole filters to restrict access) and no need to record which customer was connected to which terminal.
Has this changed with the new technology?
My next door neighbor, living in an apartment building that has had
cable service for many years requested service in an apartment that
had prior cable service and the coax is in place all the way to the backyard pole terminal.
His order was put on hold until a terminal on the pole can be assigned to his apartment. They claim that they cannot provide service until a terminal is entered in their computers.
My next question is: Are the CC able to program what comes out of each individual terminal, like the phone company?

Uncapping Motorola SB6141

I have a Motorola SB6141 running extremely slow speeds of 5MB. The ISP is Comcast. I was reading around and searching through forums on the SB6141. I found a thread which is the SB6121 and was wondering if it is a similar process to mine.

My goal is to remove the cap of 5MB and increase it to much higher speeds and I do need help trying to do this. If I need to buy the JTAGUSB NT then I will. I just want to know if flashing my modem will remove the cap. My modem is also using DOCSIS 3.0. I did find the tutorial on using JTAGUSB NT but again, I just want to make sure this will help me uncap my modem or at least increase my speeds much higher than 5MB.

FastCert and Comcast

Hello, I just wanted to ask if anyone here has had success lately with FastCert on Comcast's network. I'm thinking that SNMP is blocked because of all the "No response from remote host..."

If anyone has suggestions that would be fantastic.
