arris has corrected the identification of the MAX3518 PGA type on the REV4 boards, so by default they report correctly as MAX3518. this only applies to boards that have refurbished by arris beginning on a particular date, or boards produced toward the end of the production cycle in 2016.

what this means is those 'newer' REV4 produced boards will automatically have the correct PGA selected after a forceware flash.

small potatoes though, since arris has ceased production of the sb6141 as it is discontinued.

Hi, im new in here and i have been researching alot about hacked FW for cable modems after seeing this defcon article: https://www.defcon.org/images/defcon-16/...6-self.pdf

Because of this i would like to know if this is still posible to get anonymous internet as a 2nd line to my paid for line if splicing it and connected a modem with haxorware?

I belive my ips uses euro docsis 3.0 in the cable network .

I also have some other questions:

is it still posible to Force network access (ignore unauthorized messages) with hacked modems?
can use a ciaco epc3928D for haxorware or bitware etc?
Can one of the USA modems that are hackable work with my ips (eurodocsis 3.0)?

I read my ips contract agreement and it dont mention anything about i cant use my own cable modem.

Hi, guys, I am a complete newbie for this stuff. I have been using Hexaware sb5101 for 5 years (I couldn't log in to this modem), then I purchased a SB6141 with Forceware from eBay. I thought it wasn't hard to figure out how to get it connected and worked, but I was wrong. I have to confess: I know nothing about this thing. Guys, I really need your help with this modem. I know this is a theft of service, and I have been doing this unknowingly for 5 years or more until recently I discovered that I was using the premoded SB5101. The SB5101 is still working which means SB6141 should be working if everything's set up correctly. I really need your help, please explain step by step. For people who know how to solve this problem, please leave your email, I would select one and pay him/her through PayPal once the problem solved.

Probably the easiest option to utilize the DualShock 4 controller on the PC is the use of a conventional USB cable. Not only can the DualShock 4 control be billed via the micro USB port, but it can also be joined to the PC like any other USB device. Windows 10 recognizes the gamepad in a few seconds and you can use it. Especially in newer games or at the Big-Picture port of Steam, now you can utilize the PS4 controller immediately.
